Air Bench is a test piece for HMPE 1000, a plastic usually dedicated to industrial uses. Here the focus is on its aesthetic qualities and potential for display furniture.
50mm thick plates form a functional and stable structure on which to sit and/or display items. The extreme whiteness of the plastic associated to its slight transparency makes it an unusual and attractive object perfectly adapted to contemporary minimalistic atmospheres.
